What is Hypopituitarism?

Hypopituitarism is a syndrome which results due to of deficiency in pituitary hormone production. It can be due to various disorders involving the pituitary gland, hypothalamus, or surrounding structures.

Location of Pituitary Gland:- It is a small structure that is located just below the brain. It is attached by the stalk to the hypothalamus, the area of the brain that controls its functions.
